HECB 2009-11 Agency Budget Request (Resolution 08-26)

State agencies must submit their 2009-11 biennial budget requests to the Office of Financial Management by September 2, 2008.  The HECB Fiscal Committee reviewed the proposed agency budget and will submit it to the full board for consideration and approval.

Meaningful High School Diploma Initiative / “Core 24”

Representatives from the State Board of Education discussed a draft credit framework called CORE 24, which is a set of graduation requirements to better prepare students for life after high school.
